CPL is delighted to announce our joining of the Sustainable Energy Association (SEA), an initiative launched in December 2013 with the aim of helping members achieve renewables targets, and facilitating policy solutions designed to achieve a low carbon and more secure energy future for the UK. The SEA will offer a welcomed driving force, and ample assistance on helping us to meet our ambitious, but achievable renewable energy targets.
Tim Minnett, Chief Executive of CPL industries commented:"We are excited to have joined the Sustainable Energy Association so soon after their recent launch. CPL is already making substantial progress with our low carbon products and membership of this association will help increase our influence over the policies that affect an increasingly vital market for us. The networking opportunities with both Government and wider industry will prove an invaluable asset to our business and we look forward to a successful partnership."
Dave Sowden, Chief Executive of the Sustainable Energy Association commented: "After widening our remit by launching the Sustainable Energy Association only a month ago it is great to already be welcoming a new Sponsoring Member. Our mission is to promote demand side solutions that cost less during their life time than almost every "big energy" solution and to do this in a way that is founded on sound economics, properly researched costs, and is constructive across the political spectrum. We hope to continue to strengthen the membership base to add resource and weight to our policy positions."
